General Information:Nexium 24HR capsules are for the short-term relief of frequent heartburn and acid reflux symptoms such as heartburn that occurs two or more days per week. Esomeprazole and other similar digestive tablets can help prevent heartburn more easily than other PPIs such as Protonix and Protonix-n []; they also have fewer stomach ulcers than H2 blockers and anti-inflammatory medications.

Dosage and Administration

Take this medicine exactly as it was prescribed for you. Do not take it with a large or a small meal or any other fat-free meal plan. This medicine works best when combined with a low-calorie diet and regular exercise. The amount of frequent daily intake of the drug is not affected by food or exercise.
